Amal Daoud
Director of Assessment
Amal Daoud is the Director of Assessment at Al Maaref American School, working alongside with the Section Principals and Teachers to ensure the transform of data into actionable insights that drive student achievement, guide instructional improvement, and support the school’s vision for academic excellence.
With more than 20 years of experience in the education field, starting as a teacher, a Head of Department, a Career Counselor and then as a Senior leader heading the Assessment Department, Amal’s transition into assessment and data management stemmed from a deep passion for data analysis and the ability to craft meaningful stories from numbers. Amal is also serves as a visiting team member for the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), supporting schools worldwide in achieving high standards of excellence.
Amal believes that using data strategically to support students in improving their academic performance is a cornerstone of successful learning. Her work is driven by the conviction that accurate, insightful data not only measures progress but also empowers students, teachers, and schools to achieve their highest potential.
